A fried of mine asked me and my family out to the Sand hills of Nebraska for a day of branding. As a kid we lived in Valentine, NE. This is one of the God's most beautiful places on earth. There is so much do do. My daughter Ila and youngest son Alex had a hard time watching but ultimately they enjoyed it. We also went to Merritt State Recreation area and rode mt bike son the cowboy trail. My parents Joe and Therese also came along for the banding and my mom even helped wrestle the calf's to the ground. The entire time I was there, I was thinking how much God has blessed my life to be from such a beautiful place. To give you an idea how wide open the area is on Rancher we were helping owned 30,000 acres and the other owned 15,000 acres. What I love about this part of the county is the complete lack of trees.
